There are intentional small holes in the heat shrink plastic that touches the plastic serum bottles to allow heat to escape following production.The pathogen barrier is not this plastic shrinkwrap that touches the plastic bottles; the barrier is the double bagging that holds the shrink wrapped serum bottles in the carton.
