Whatman Polycap TC Filters, STERILE PES filter membranes with 0.8um prefilter followed by a 0.2um pore final filter. Suitable for a wide range of aqueous filtration techniques in life science and pharmaceutical applications.
PES membranes (Poly Ether Sulfone membrane filters) are inherently hydrophilic with low extractables and high flow rates. They are biosafe and remove fine particles, bacteria and fungi. Low protein-binding minimizes non-specific protein binding and enables filtration applications such as cleaning/rinsing pharmaceutical solutions and viral suspensions, sterilizing tissue culture media, and general filtration.
